Pest Control for Restaurants

Can you afford to risk one of your customers seeing a cockroach, fly, or mouse?

When a customer spots a fly – or something worse -- in your restaurant, they will likely tell up to 20 other people about their unpleasant experience. And they will tell their friends… and so on… and so on.

Your reputation is too valuable to risk over a common pest.

Luckily, Adam’s offers a wide variety of exclusion and prevention practices tailored for the food service industry. Our highly trained, professional technicians will inspect your facility and prepare an effective prevention program that is customized to your restaurant.

Bait and sprays are effective, but at Adam’s Pest Control we believe that to really eliminate a pest you need to correctly treat its breeding grounds, entry points, and flyways/runways. Our full-time staff entomologist works with our professional field technicians to effectively take care of the source of your pest problem with prevention, exclusion, and treatments.

One fly is one fly too many.

Rarely do house flies breed within food service establishments, so any flies you see are probably coming in from outside. With Adam’s supplemental fly control, we correctly identify the problem flies and locate all of the breeding and feeding sources. Adam’s doesn’t just spray and leave, our fly service includes:

  • Prevention
  • Monitoring
  • Treatment
  • Exclusion

Do you have small flies, drains that occasionally back up, or a foul odor around your bar? Many restaurants and bars experience a build-up of "sugar snakes" in their drains. Sugar snakes are formed when sugar-eating bacteria feed on soda drink residue in the drains, eventually forming a hard, cellulose polymer that slows your drain and is an excellent breeding ground for flies. Typical drain openers are ineffective in clearing sugar snakes.

Adam's Drain Service will reduce your small fly breeding sites, reduce foul drain odors, improve flow, and reduce the chance of backups. We treat your drains with a harmless, non-chemical culture that eats the organic build-up and converts it into water and carbon dioxide.

If you are concerned about your main line, ask about our automated dispenser or time-release products that periodically dispense the organic culture over the course of a month.

As Minnesota’s leading bed bug experts, Adam's has the expertise and equipment to completely rid your restaurant of bed bugs. The Adam’s A-team is a dedicated bed bug response unit made up of specially trained, licensed professionals who perform heat treatments at multiple sites every day. Our certified canine inspection teams use specially trained dogs to quickly and accurately detect bed bugs, especially small and early infestations.

Turn on an ILT and turn the lights out on flying pests.

Insect Light Traps, or ILT's, work great at catching flies, including house flies and cluster flies, and other flying insects such as yellow jackets, Asian lady beetles, and red flour beetles.
