Fast, Guaranteed Pest Control in Side Lake, MN

🚨 FALL ALERT: Mice, Bats & Overwintering Insects Moving into Side Lake Cabins

As temperatures drop each fall across Saint Louis County, mice, red squirrels, and other wildlife actively seek shelter in unoccupied cabins and lake homes. Bats also move to find overwintering roosts behind siding and in attic spaces. A pre-closing treatment before you leave for the season is your best defense — call us before you lock up.

• Mice: The most critical pest threat to Side Lake cabins; when properties sit vacant through the fall and winter, mice move in freely through the smallest gaps, nesting in insulation and wall voids, contaminating surfaces, and chewing wiring. Pre-closing fall exclusion and baiting is the single most important treatment a Side Lake cabin owner can schedule
• Red squirrels and chipmunks: Far more destructive than their size suggests; red squirrels in particular will gnaw entry holes through wood siding, soffits, and trim to gain access to the warm interior of a vacant cabin, then nest inside and cache seeds and debris in wall cavities and attic spaces
• Bats: Common throughout the boreal forest properties of Saint Louis County; bats roost in attic spaces, behind siding, and inside wall voids of lake cabins and homes, entering through gaps as small as 3/8 of an inch. We perform professional bat exclusion following DNR guidelines — humane, permanent, and fully effective
• Mosquitoes: Intense and persistent throughout the summer months on all properties near the Side Lake and Sturgeon Lake chain; the area's abundant wetlands, black spruce lowlands, and lake edges produce mosquito pressure that rivals anywhere in Minnesota from late May through August
